To ensure the quality of the work we do, we’re registered with the National Inspection Council of Electrical Installation Contractors (NICEIC), this allows us to self-certify that our domestic electrical work complies with the building regulations (part P).

Self-certification of domestic electrical work came about following a change in the law on January 2005, and here at B.G. Electrical Contractors, we are fully compliant with all relevant legislation, so you know you are covered under the NICEIC’s procedure in the unlikely event of a problem with the work.

Peace of Mind

There is a governmental requirement that registered installers offer an insurance-backed warranty to their customers. The NICEIC provides a warranty on all notified, domestic, electrical installation work carried out by NICEIC domestic installers.

These warranties last for six years. The purpose is to ensure that you, the customer, are protected at all times. Full details of the cover provided by the policy can be found on the NICEIC website.
